Gifts that Give Back

This post is a part of our Orphan Awareness Month series in November 2014 to advocate, educate, and spark discussion about topics relating to adoption and orphan care.  To check out the other posts in the OAM series, click here.

This next week is all about shopping … Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday … it is everywhere!  This year, when you are searching for stocking stuffers and perfect gifts, why not use your dollars to make a difference at the same time?

The following is a list of products that would make great gifts and also support orphan care and adoption!  We have also included a list of ministries and organizations that work with or support orphans all around the world, if you are looking for a way to give back directly.

By the way, there are TONS more ways to give back through your shopping, so do a little research before hitting the stores or online shops this season and make a difference in the lives of orphans.  Plus, when your loved one opens their gift, you’ll be able to share with them how their gift is touching a life somewhere around the world.

This year, commit to buying gifts that give back!
